What type of health plan do you have from BCBSND?
Fully Insured
If your employer purchased a group plan designed and underwritten by BCBSND, and your company and/or you pay a monthly premium for your health insurance, you are a fully insured member. Ask your employer if you are unsure.
Self-Funded
If the company where you work set up its own fund from which to pay its employees’ health insurance claims, and BCBSND administers the plan, you are a self-funded member. Ask your employer if you are unsure.
North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System (NDPERS)
If you are a state employee with benefits administered by the North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System (NDPERS), there are specific wellness program options associated with your membership.
